When crossing the track always check in both directions but remember that all events and most training sessions are conducted in an anti-clockwise direction.
Always walk around the outside of the track and avoid crossing the infield. (This is to avoid unnecessary dirt and mud being brought onto the track and, more importantly, for Health & Safety reasons).
When cooling down, you must use the outside lanes or the off the track completely.
NEVER walk in front of the Timekeepers and Track Judges during a League Fixture, Open Meeting or any completion.
All field equipment must only be ‘signed out’ by a qualified Club Coach and be returned and neatly stored away after use. Members under the age of 18 years may not take out equipment unless under the personal supervision of Club Coach.

When the Hammer, Shot and Javelin is being used make sure all athletes stand well back from the throwing area.
Never collect or pick up any throwing instrument until a Coach or official gives instructions to do so.
Do not sit or play in High Jump / Pole Vault or Long Jump pits, make sure You are supervised by a Coach at all times.
THINK SAFETY, LOOK, LISTEN.
