The CATS’s were in action in Luton for the 3rd East Anglian League Meeting of the season. The U11’s were in fine form with Bradley Hicks, Finn O’Reilly and Louise Porter all competing in the Long Jump and the 80M. Hicks, O’reilly and Aran Kettle competing in the 600M. 
The U13 Boys with Thomas Hewes in the 800M putting in a time of 2:37.8 PB and good performances in the 200M and Discus. William Page competing in the 1500M with a good time of 5:35.8 PB and putting in strong performances in the 100M and Long Jump. U13 Girls with Courtney Bland and Hannah Johnson performing well in the High Jump with a PB from both, Bland jumping 1.15M and Johnson 1.0M. Bland also in the 100M along with Caitlin O’Reilly  and Katie Palmer all putting in fine performances. In the Shot Putt Palmer and Sasha Clarke put in good performances both coming 2nd in their groups, in the Long Jump Clarke and O’Reilly performing well with a PB from O’Reilly jumping 4.10M.  Clarke, Bland, Palmer and O’Reilly putting in a strong performance in the 4 x 100M relay.
For the U15 Boys Jordan Rowe put in good performances in the 1500M, 200M and the Long Jump. The U15 Girls performed well with Bethany Ibbotson and Zoe Neville in the Discus, Charlotte Kew putting in a fine performance in the Hurdles. Amelia Perry in the High Jump with a PB of 1.10M. Sian Hicks and Neville both with strong performances in the 800M, Hicks and Kew competing in the Long Jump with Kew finishing 1st with a jump of 4.62M. Hicks with a good performance in the Javelin. The 100M saw Beth and Georgia Ibbotson both finishing 2nd along with a strong performance from Amelia Perry, B Ibbotson and Perry also with strong performances in the 200M, G Ibbotson coming 1st in the 300M. Kew with a fine performance in the 1500M, G Ibbotson and Neville in the Shot Putt both with excellent throws of 7.60M and 6.65M. B Ibbotson, Neville, Hicks and B Ibbotson with a great effort in the 4 x 100M relay finishing 2nd.
The U17/ Senior Men were in fine form with Michael Porter in the 800M finishing 2nd, Strong performances in the 100M from Jack Hurst and Jim Thompson with a PB of 13.6s. Hurst and Ben Watts in the 200M with good performances, Porter and Watts competing in the 400M. Joe Alexander and Thompson in the 1500M with Alexander finishing 1st and a PB from Thompson with a time of 4:38.0. Watts and Dean Frost in the Long Jump with a PB from frost jumping 4.56M, Alexander putting in fine jumps in the Triple-jump. Alexander and Thompson in the shot putt with another PB from Thompson throwing 6.97M. More PB’s from Frost in the Discus throwing 28.28M, Porter and Frost putting in good throws in the Javelin. The 4 x 100M relay saw Porter, Frost, Thompson and Hurst putting in a strong performance. For the U17/ Senior Women Ellie Simmons with a PB in the Javelin throwing 27.60M. Kundai Matringe and Lisa Crowhurst putting in strong performances in the 100M and Matringe with Helen Bloomfield performing well in the 200M. Crowhurst and Ella Clarke performed well in the 300M and both put in fine throws in the Discus. Bloomfield with a strong performance in the 400M and in the Long Jump along with Matringe. Simmons put in a fine jump of 8.57M in the Triple Jump and put in a good throw in the Shot Putt along with Bloomfield. Simmons, Bloomfield, Crowhurst and Matringe performing well in the 4 x 100M relay.
