Situated at the heart of Britain's oldest recorded town is the home of Colchester and Tendring Athletics Club. We take pride in the level of coaching we provide our athletes and the dedication of the many volunteers behind the scenes. Our younger athletes are encouraged with training programmes that include elements of all disciplines through fun activities. As they progress through the club to U13's and upwards, the training is more focussed on specific events with tailored training programmes. SAL 2017 Competition
The decision for competition opportunities in the Southern Athletics League in 2017 has essentially been made for us, this is due to the fixed date set by England Athletics for the registration of composite teams to be made by 30th September. So we will be a CATs team in the 2017 SAL in division 3.

CATS 2016 Awards Evening
Colchester and Tendring AC held the Annual Awards evening on Friday 14th October, a little earlier this year to avoid any clashes with cross country events. This event is to recognise those Athletes who have put in great performances and supported the club throughout the past 12 months. As with previous years we had an Olympic Athlete to present the awards, this year we had the pleasure of Dominic King. The evening started with a welcome speech by Warren and thank you’ s for the coaches and league managers. Followed by the Cross Country Awards and then a question and answer session with Dominic, which opened to the members for any questions. Supper was eaten and then the main track & field awards mixed in with Debbie Castle’s 21st Birthday Celebration. Once the awards had finished Dominic drew the raffle, 1st place a laptop pc and then we had the disco.
A great evening enjoyed by all, thank you to all those involved and to Dominic King for presenting the awards and giving the motivational talk with the members.
